Warranty

How long is the 909 warranty?
909 products have a 909 day warranty for DIY use.  The product will be repaired within 909 days of the original purchase date for faulty workmanship or materials.  
909 also covers Trade use of various products for one year from the date of purchase. Limitations do apply and if the product is found to not be suitable, 909 will refund your money or trade the product for a more suitable product.


What does the 909 warranty not cover?

The 909 warranty does not cover circumstances such as:
-    abuse, improper maintenance, exposure to extreme temperatures
-    unauthorised modifications, inappropriate use of accessories, operated with incorrect electrical supply
-    vermin or foreign matter enter the product (e.g. plaster, dirt, moisture or other unspecified materials)
-    incorrect fuel mixture in petrol products
-    unauthorised tampering (i.e. housing, serial no.)
-    servicing by an unauthorised service centre


How do I make a claim on my warranty?

Why do I need to keep my receipt?
Your receipt is required as proof of purchase to establish if the product is within the 909 warranty period.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Where can I get my 909 product repaired?
For 909 product requiring repair under warranty, you will need to visit a 909 Authorised Service Centre.


Where do I find my nearest Authorised Service Centre?
Call our Customer Service Department and we will advise the closest  Authorised Service Centre to have your 909 product repaired.  If the product is under warranty and meets the warranty criteria 909 will cover the cost.

I have lost my instruction manual. Where can I get another one?
All our instruction manuals are available online.  Simple find your  specific product online, click on the “Technical Specifications” tab, and then click on the the instruction manual link at the bottom.  The instruction manual is in PDF format.


What accessories can I purchase for my product?
You have 2 options to find what accessories are available for your specific product:
1.    The individual product pages of which accessories are available for purchase are listed as a tab on the product page, so check here first.
2.    Visit the “Spare Parts/Accessories” (link to Spare Parts/Accessories page) section of the website.  Make sure that the part/s you wish to purchase are suited to your product.  The products of which accessories are suited to will be listed for each part.


I’m having some issues with my product and I don’t know what to do.
Always read your instruction manual first to see if the answer to your issue is detailed there. Alternately, every product on the 909 website has a “Troubleshooting” tab which details various problems and solutions you may have with your product, and as well as other informative information.
